WELCOME
TO THE VEGETABLE NATION
 |
|
Welcome
one and all to the A.D.D. afflicted society of cretins
that obsesses over details (such as Barry Bonds' steroid
use and the Schiavo family's private dilemma) while doggedly
persevering in its broader mission to ignore the bigger
picture at all costs. God bless the Vegetable Nation!
But how about that thing that has cost the lives of 1524 US troops so far,
killed more than 17.000 civilians, and pissed away in excess of 158 billion
dollars? Nah, fuck that. Instead, the fascists for Jeezuz seize upon one family's
trauma and use that for their own political grist. Instead of allowing an unfortunate
hot chick-turned-vegetable to fade out in peace, let them use her emaciated
form as a stick with which to beat the drum of misanthropic conservative 'values.'
Let the parasites feed on private tragedy so that it becomes another easy opportunity
(like abortion or gay marriage) to tart up bigotry and pass it off as faith.
God bless the Vegetable Nation!
Truly, the repulsive spectacle of the fake humanitarian shit-for-brains praying
for one vegetative soul's token extension while happily condoning the ongoing
slaughter of the young, healthy and viable in Iraq and Afghanistan clearly
demonstrates that Terri Schiavo is far from being the only person operating
on brain stem alone in America today. But if we are to bow to God's will and
not let her die, how come it is only the intervention of medical science that
is keeping her alive to begin with? Ever thought of that, dumbass holier-than-thous?
God bless the Vegetable Nation: pinheaded fuckwits for Christ one and all.

DANCES
WITH LOONS
I
recently signed on at ChristianBBS.com to engage in
some theological and moral debate with the born again
Christian community. As these freaks are now governing
the country, perhaps this is the time to start a dialogue?
Posing as one of the flock, in the hope of garnering
some kind of empathetic response to my probings, I
planted this question on the discussion board: what
would Jesus bomb? Here are some of the warm chats I
had with my Christian brethren (preserved below lest my
thread be deleteth):
FriedWire:
I
see around me a world of hypocrites, nominal Christians and
plain charlatans who seem far more comfortable with the notion
of killing - as opposed to loving - one's neighbor. Maybe I
am in ignorance, but isn't the whole point of Christ's teaching
to show us that we are better than that?
[Inference: You're proper Christians — don't those fakers piss you off?]
WhiteEagle:
In the Old Testament, Israel often fought other
peoples in self-defense. Our country's soldiers have killed
innocent people, but those people had warning we were coming
for the terrorists, and unfortunately there are no perfect
wars.
[Inference: No. We like a bit of war.]
FriedWire:
Bush turned 9-11 into an excuse to invade the world's
second largest oil reserve and a tool to maintain his own power
by spreading fear so that we all fall unquestioningly into line.
A Christian response, surely, would be to strive to avoid more
unjust deaths and to lead the world not into greater danger, but
into safer times.
[Inference: Are you sure?]
WhiteEagle:
I hear that gasoline may be up to nearly $5.00 a gallon this summer.
I wish Congress would allow Bush to have oil drilled in Alaska...If you want
to call that American greed, go for it!
[Inference: yes. And we are partial to a little greed as well.]
FriedWire:
Now the government controls the Iraqi oil infrastructure and supply,
we're being ripped off more than ever. As the world's largest consumer of
oil and home to the biggest oil and petroleum trading companies, whoever
controls America pretty much controls the oil trading. And the price of it.
[Inference: Seriously, if you're Christians, why doesn't Bush piss you off?]
Thunderz7:
As
to the Republican in the White House; did you prefer the previous Democrat
occupant, who promoted killing babies, and gay rights, and didn't know sex
from cigars, or inhaling from lying?
[Inference: Let's just randomly change the subject.]
WhiteEagle:
Fried
Wire: Islamic Extremists are following their Religion to the letter and also
their ancestors historically. The Koran does tell them to kill Infidels, of
which Jews and Christians are along with everyone else who does not bow to
Allah. They have declared a "holy war" on the Western world. Or did
you miss that?
[Inference: It's all the fault of the towel heads.]
FriedWire:
Wrong.
The Koran proscribes all war except in self defense and writes about coexisting
with people of other religions...bin Laden no more represents Islam than Timothy
McVeigh represented Christianity.
[Inference: I bet you're a fan of Timothy McVeigh, though, you nazi gobshite.]
Thunderz7:
The WORD tells me that the sons of Ishmael will be enemies to all,
even to each other. Islam is of Ishmael, my enemy. Israel had to kill many
enemies.
[Inference: I may be psychotic and I have difficulty concealing it...]
Caretaker:
Maybe
Fried Wire should get his facts straight and stop peddling the same old liberal
pablum.
[Inference: Bleeuuuurrrrgggghhhh]
Thunder7:
Interesting how Fried Wire's opinions and those of the other
died-in-the-wool liberals, are raising their voices with those who are so adamantly
opposed to the establishment of the first truly democratic government in the
Arab world. Interesting how Fried Wire and his ilk are opposed to equality
and education for women.
[Inference: fascist liberal woman hater!]
FriedWire:
So you guys seriously believe that all Muslims think God is pleased
by indiscriminate carnage and terrorism? 'Bout time you started nailing some
right angles on your crucifixes and calling them swastikas if that's the
case. And you can kiss my ass with the patronizing 'liberal' garbage. I'm
such a 'liberal' because the site of small kids being blown to shreds by
Bunker Buster bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan makes me sick to my stomach and
weep for the degraded, hypocritical and inhumane mind set that is considered
Christian in this country since the Bush regime took power.
[Inference: I'm starting to lose it with you guys.]
WhiteEagle:
No one wants children killed. Yet war is not without innocent victims.
I see that the people who died at the Pentagon didn't bother you one little
bit. Not to mention all the innocent people on those 3 planes of which there
were children also that all died for the daily jihad of Islam.
[Inference: Latté sipping al Qaeda groupie]
FriedWire:
In response to White Eagle's dumb and insulting assertion: I am
fully in sympathy with the innocent people who died on 9-11 as I am with
anybody else who is murdered. Therefore, I'm fully in support of the legal
actions that are seeking to bring Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, et al to account
for, at best, their criminal negligence and, at worst, their complicity in
'The Enterprise.' I guess you'd slam the 60+ families of 9-11 victims who
are currently suing the Bush administration under the RICO organized crime
statute because you'd know better. I guess you'd also know better than Stanley
G. Hilton - former senior advisor to Senator Bob Dole and former buddy of
Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz - who has filed a $7 billion class action lawsuit
against high officials in the current Bush administration for aiding and
abetting and facilitating the attacks. Oh, and there were 4 planes not 3
- 2 at WTC, 1 at the Pentagon and 1 that was shot down over Pennsylvania.
[Inference: It's like talking to a rocking horse]
KuuKuu:
Please gentlemen. Let's not spread disunity. I plead with you my
brethren to agree to disagree and still be united in Christ. Please dear
Daddy, give us the boldness to join in unity to do your will what ever that
may be for each individual among us. Turn back Satan who seeks to divide
us and keep your message and your mission from reaching our world.
[Inference: ???]
After my few days of chatting with 'Christians', I gave up. When
you're in an environment where grown men are referring to their omnipotent
Judeo-Christian deity as 'Daddy,' you know it's time to catch a cab. But
if the Christians of Jeezuz Land could just be persuaded that Bush is a phony
and that all he stands for is in direct opposition to Biblical teachings,
we may be in with a chance of dumping the dumb, fake theocracy that currently
rules us and revive the secular, free-thinking spirit that was the foundation
of this country. I think it may take a while however.
